Spring Newsletter

​Greetings companions,

I have realized that this is the best newsletter to be written for this York Rite season.  It has been a good year learning, working and sharing the Royal and Select Mason degrees and I encourage all members to do the same  now and in the future.  Thanks to all who have helped, especially for our inspection.  Having been to all the Arch Inspections this year, Findlay Council #50 is the only Council to have its own members fill all parts of the Royal Master degree.  I give an "At“a Boy” to all Companions.

There are a few more inspections coming up  April 1st at St. Marys is theirs and Delphos starting at 9am.  Also on this date is Findlay Commandery Inspection and I would encourage all Sir Knights of our Council to support our Commandery.  April 8th is Findlay’s Chapter inspection and I encourage all to support our Chapter as well.  May 19th is our Super Excellent Master Degree with more details to follow.

Other dates of importance:  The NOW York Rite festival is May 13th, our Arch is doing the Royal Master Degree.  If you know a brother wishing to continue his journey in Masonry here’s an opportunity. The 2nd Arch reunion is June 15th at Findlay and the Arch picnic is August 26th at Greenville, Ohio.  The times will be announced later.

In closing: Thanks for allowing me to serve as the Illustrious Master.  This opportunity has enriched my continued journey in Masonry while striving to emulate the path of my Father in the Findlay York Rite bodies.
