Summer Newsletter

​Thank you for electing me as Illustrious Master for Findlay’s Council No. 50.  This is the best council in the 2nd Arch and with your participation this tradition will continue.  Tradition is evident by our Councils participation at Roadside Rest Fundraiser for the Diabetic Kids Camp.  I do thank all those companions of the 2nd Arch that helped.  Manning such an event over the Memorial Weekend is a group effort.  The Arch raised over $2,100.00 dollars.

The next event for the 2nd Arch is the Diabetic Camp at Camp Berry.  It is August 5-7.  We need help with the meal prep, serving and cleaning.  Help is needed Friday evening, three meals Saturday and Sunday morning.  Please call me if you can help.

August 27th is the 2nd Arch picnic held at Troy, Ohio.

The next meeting is September 6th.  The High Priest and I would like to continue having the potluck meal at 6:30pm followed by the stated meetings starting at 7:30pm.  We will have hamburgers, brats and dogs cooked on charcoal.  This meal is open to families.  Come enjoy the companionship of old friends and make some new ones.

The yearly Inspection will be in the Royal Master degree on April 14, 2017.  Findlay  Council is one of the few Councils in the Arch to conduct inspections with our own membership, hopefully we will continue this.  There will be more information to follow.

SEM degree will be May 19, 2017.  Again, more information to follow.
