Greetings my Brothers,
As I draw near the close of my year in the East it would be easy to look back and say “I wish” this or that but I could never do that. I was honored to serve the members of this Lodge and represent them the best I could at District and State functions. The members of this lodge have shown tremendous support and were willing to step forward and assist when I ask them. The friendships I have developed over this past year throughout the entire 10th District are ones that I will have for many years to come. The challenge of learning the inspection degree was overcome by practice with my chaplain and by looking in the mirror. On Inspection morning to see all the Brothers for not only from this district but Nobles from Zenobia being led by Potentate Charlie Murphy was a tribute to his values that it all starts in our Blue Lodges. George Leatherman was our inspection candidate and he finished his Master Mason return on September 7th. Another special night was the Veterans night held June 1st. We had brothers from near and far attend along with Most Worshipful Grand Master Robert Rill in our building rekindling friendships. A special thanks to Rick Eakin and Casey Zechman for stepping up to assme officer chairs when they became open due to a life change of Nathan and Tyler who were installed. Lastly I would like to thank my Father who with his encouragement I joined this great fraternity in 2002 in the very first one day class when GM Tom Reynolds made thousands of Men Masons. Two years later representing Scottish Rite Masons I ran the Boston Marathon. Though dad was not here when I started my journey through the officer line, I am positive he watched over my travels this year and would say “Well done my Brother” Please support Jason as he begins his year in the East. Your Worshipful Master, Jim Warren |
