Happy New Year! May 2019 be a wonderful year for all of you and your loved ones. I, and the companions, hope to see all of you at our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday, immediately following the Chapter meeting.
Congratulations to all the Companions who participated in our Annual inspection on November 19th. We received a highly favorable report from Right Illustrious companion Michael Terry, 2nd Arch Inspector and Grand Conductor of Council, who inspected our Council. Our candidates were greatly impressed by the quality of the degree work they received. As your Illustrious Master, I am very proud of the hard work and dedication exhibited by the companions. Also the council school of instruction hosted by Findlay Council on November 16th was a success
Looking ahead, we will be portraying the Select Master degree at the March meeting. The following events will be taking place.
Inspection, Van Wert, Jan. 22, 7:30pm RM
Inspection, Matchett, Feb. 13, 7:30pm RM
Inspection, Kenton, Mar. 5, 7:00pm RM
Inspection, Franklin, Mar. 12, 7:30pm SM
Inspection, Logan, Mar. 18, 7:30pm, SM
Deputy Masters Meeting, Mar.14, Logan, 7:00pm
Furthermore, the Northwest Ohio York Rite Festival will be Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Findlay Complex. This is a wonderful opportunity for every Master Mason who is not a York Rite member to receive the degrees and orders. We will once again provide refreshments at the I-75 rest area south of Findlay over Memorial Day weekend to help fund the Diabetic Kids Fund, which supports the Diabetic Kids Camp in August.
Have a safe and prosperous New Year!
