We have been able to meet in person for the month of May. Several were unable to attend, but it was great to be in person. We weeded a flower bed for Jim Klauing’s Church and laid ten bags of mulch. At our next meeting, we also made centerpieces for a nursing home and we met Dick and Kathy Barrick’s beautiful granddaughters.
We are doing a service project or social activity with girls who are not quite old enough to join yet with the hopes of hooking them to our order for future membership. In July, we look forward to Grand Assembly at the end of July and will most likely have a cook out and swim party at Mom Anast’s. In August, we will not formally meet, but will have some kind of fun activity. We are still collecting shoes. Our goal is to collect 120 bags with 25 pairs of shoes in each bag. For those that have already donated, thank you! If you haven’t yet, please do so. Thanks! If you have girls 6-11 yrs. Of age, please send them our way for Pledge group activities. To be a Rainbow girl the age is 11-20. We need them too. Lori Anast-co Mother Advisor Sheri Leatherman-co Mother Advisor
