Findlay Masonic Bodies |
Greetings from Findlay Assembly #173,
We enjoyed a cookout and swim party at Mom Anast’s home. It was good to see everyone and catch up. We began our regular meeting schedule in September 25, 2021:1st Monday of the month is social/service meeting and we must meet in the dining room or off site. The 3rd Monday of the month we have our ritualistic meeting. Our Grand Assembly was for 2 days only in August, Brynn Follas, Grand Jr. Executive represented our Assembly very well. We are so proud of her. Our Ohio Grand Worthy Advisor, Micaela Leach has many projects for us to do. We will share these as we do them. Please watch for fliers or notices to each of your group’s bodies or as they are posted in the building. We so appreciate your support. Her major service project is raising funds for Honor Flight. We have airplanes to sell for $1.00 a piece. We will have an envelope with airplanes, directions on what to do as thy will be part of Grand Assembly decorations for next year. We continue to do a service project or social activity with girls who are not quite old enough to join yet with the hopes of hooking them to our order for future membership. We have not quite collected our shoes, so we are still collecting shoes. Our goal is to collect 120 bags with 25 pairs of shoes in each bag. For those that have already donated, thank you! If you haven’t yet, please do so. We need about 200 more pairs to meet our goal, so that we do not have to pay for shipping which would be HORRENDOUS! Please dig a little deeper in those closets or perhaps ask a family and neighbors for some. Also, please do not take any shoes as we are working hard to raise money for our assembly so that we may help others. If there is a lot, Lori Anast will be happy to pick them up. Thanks! We are looking forward to getting back together, regularly! If you know of any young girls that would be interested in becoming a Rainbow girl and are not 11 yet, please share with us. We are attempting to interest young girls by doing activities with them. Ages 6-10 are ideal. Please help us grow and keep Rainbow alive!
